The Barefoot Books Store

The Barefoot Books Store is located at 1771 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, in the eclectic neighborhood that connects Porter Square to Harvard Square. Enchanting to visit, it showcases our entire high-quality product line, including books, story CDs, prints, artists' cards, party collections, puzzles, puppets, and games, as well as stunning original artwork by acclaimed Barefoot Books illustrators.

Barefoot Books was named Best Children's Bookstore by Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2006. This marked the fourth year in a row that we'd been selected among the best of Boston-area businesses!

Near Porter Square, on the corner of Forest Street, next to ATA Cycle.
There is metered parking on Massachusetts Ave, and a parking lot behind the nearby Porter Exchange building (behind 1815 Massachusetts Ave). When attending events after 6pm or during the weekend, you may park for free behind Barefoot Book's corporate office at The Henderson Carriage Building, 2067 Massachusetts Avenue.
